From time to time, we make investments in or help provide grants to our clients' websites. In particular:
- eCommerce sites
- order-taking sites
- customer service or relationship marketing sites
- intranets or workflow sites
- marketing or lead generation sites
We do this to earn more revenue for our company - we don't do it charitably. Often, we'll ask you to make an initial financial commitment to your project, and then as a phase 2 activity, we'll focus on funding.
Please note, we do not consider candidate investments on the phone - instead, please email us a summary of your proposition using the form below. We'll respond to you after that.
We can get involved financially in two alternative ways:
- Grants: Many entrepreneurs prefer to share revenues more than equity. You may be wary about the control which an investor may exert. In these cases, we may offer to take part or all of our fees in the form of a share of your revenues over a two-or-more year period. In other words, we put our money where our mouth is, and risk our revenue in return for a share of yours.
- Investments: For those entrepreneurs who prefer a closer and more advisory collaboration, we may offer equity investment. This can bring about a stronger balance sheet, the ability to borrow further funds and the benefits of experts on your board which an experienced web entrepreneur brings. In these cases, we may offer to extra part or all of our fees against equity held in your company. In other words, we put our money where our mouth is, and risk our revenue in return for a share of your company.

Note: Please don't be offended if we turn you down - it may be because our investment budget has been spent, or our priorities don't match yours. But it's worth a try.
